Velotech Cycling Ltd provide a range of services, mainly in-house, but also working with partners to provide coverage by experts in given fields of cycle mechanics and related activities.
Velotech Training Courses are a modular programme of learning with a strong emphasis on the practical understanding and application of good underlying mechanical principles.
The programme is subject to constant updates in terms of the technologies discussed and worked on, but the core values of progression and practicality stay the same.
The Platinum and Platinum Plus accreditations have been recognised under the Vocationally Relevant Qualification framework by ASET, a government recognised awarding body.
Velotech Cycling Ltd is committed to the ongoing development of the accreditation, and to broadening access to an industry-recognised and properly audited learning programme, into which the industry contributes knowledge and best practice.
All Velotech courses carry the approval of the Bicycle Association of Great Britain (BAGB), the UK's manufacturers, importers and distributors association. It is our general policy that we do not train candidates in any aspect of bicycle mechanics until we ourselves have received training from the manufacturer or distributor, or until we have received accreditation from a manufacturer or distributor.

Velotech Cycling provide warranty and servicing for Campagnolo product in the UK, as an "Approved Service Centre" or "ASC". There are four ASCs in total in the UK, with the other three all having been trained by Velotech Cycling Ltd to assess and deliver warranty provision.
Velotech Cycling Ltd is both industry- and customer-facing, whereas the other three are, in general, committed to servicing their own trade customers.
As an additional part of the Campagnolo Service, Velotech are the sole UK Campagnolo-endorsed providers of technical training with relation to Campagnolo proprietory technologies such as EPS, G3 wheelbuilding, Ergopower levers, Ultra Torque, PowerTorque and PowerShift. These courses can be taken as stand-alone accreditations provided that basic competencies exist and also form modules of our Platinum Plus course.

Velotech Training Workshops - We are pleased to officially announce and we are now working with a range of centres to deliver elements of the Velotech accreditation. Most centres can offer training up to Gold level.
The modular nature of the Velotech accreditation means that candidates wishing eventually to acheive a Platinum or Platinum Plus certification can therefore start their training at a training centre close to them, without the need to travel, so allowing a more economic option than might be the case with some other courses.
Centres that can help you are linked below.

Already very experienced mechanics who have already received their Gold accreditation and who wish to become Velotech Instructors can book for all four days.
Mechanics who have completed a Velotech Gold and who would like to know more about the included Frame elements and would like some refreshing of knowledge, or who are starting from scratch with hydraulics can book the first day as a standalone if they wish.
Mechanics wanting to know more about the theory and practice of wheelbuilding as it is covered on the Foundation Wheelbuilding course can book days 2 & 3.
Already very experienced mechanics who have already attained Velotech Platinum and who wish to become Velotech instructors need only book the last day.
The cost per person per day is the standard Velotech Chesterton fee of £170.00 plus VAT per day.
Campagnolo ProShop 2017 - posted Tuesday 3rd January 2017 19.32h
As many will know, Veotech Cycling have for several years provided full technical back-up for Campagnolo in the UK. We have spent 2016 in part working more closely than ever with Campagnolo on service and technical issues, giving us unparallelled access to the factory and a deeper insight into many of their products, including, of course, the new EPS v3 Electronic group, which allows connectivity with the electronic system through the MyCampy App. ProShops will be invited to refresh their status by their wholesaler over the next couple of months and Velotech will be here to look after the technical training part of the commitment. We will run a series of courses both at key wholesalers premises and at Chesterton during the first four months of 2017 but we would strongly urge reatilers to contact their wholesaler early.
